Shifting Gold won in emphatic style at Kempton on Wednesday evening; her first outing of the year. Slowly away, jockey Tom Queally was content to settle her at the rear of the field, with the leaders setting a quick pace. She certainly had her work cut out with around 10 lengths to make up, but once asked for an effort she motored up the home straight passing every one of her rivals and winning by just under a length. This was a visually impressive win and this filly still looks to be improving. Congratulations to her owners, Mr and Mrs Farrant.
