Sea Art wins in soggy conditions at Bath

September 30, 2019

The 3yo gelding jumped well from his inside draw, but was denied the lead early on in the race. He settled for 5th and travelled well with the leading pack. He was given a determined ride from jockey Jason Watson who ensured that his mount dug deep to reel in the leaders. After a gritty couple of furlongs he actually won fairly easily, with the winning margin just over a length.   This was Sea Art's 12th start and we are delighted for owner Mr Gordon Roddick that he is now a winner. He relished the 1m5f trip in testing conditions and will hopefully be able to win again before heading to the sales next month.
