PEARL BEACH backed up her Wolverhampton win of last week with another win at Chelmsford on Monday evening. The step up in trip to 1m6f suited this daughter of Footstepsinthesand, being out of a mare who ran over 2 miles. Although she travelled strongly and had a good position behind the leaders on the rail, she had to be patient and wait for a gap to come. When it did however, she pulled away well and put the race to bed within a few strides.

This filly is in excellent form and will honour her next engagement back at Chelmsford on Thursday in the hope of getting the hat-trick!
