KVT Patience Pays Off

July 6, 2023

BUNKER BAY breaks his maiden on his twelfth start, winning the “Hands and Heels” apprentice handicap at Yarmouth. This four-year-old gelding tracked the leader, who was over 8 lengths clear midway through the race, before taking the lead inside the final 2f, outpacing Oriental Art. Jockey, Brandon Wilkie gave a cool ride, he produced at just the right time.

A huge congratulations to owners Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds who have waited ever so patiently for BUNKER BAY to bring home this win. An upcoming entry has been made at Kempton. William will be considering turning him out quickly as he won’t carry a penalty.
