GATECRASHER GIRL made it 3 from 3 in handicaps when scoring on Saturday at Doncaster. She has been a revelation this year, after three quiet runs in maiden company she earned a lowly handicap rating of 66 and won again with something to spare now rated 80.
Ridden behind the leaders under Ben Curtis, the runners fanned out across the track with a furlong to go and it looked like anybody's race. However, this daughter of Lope De Vega is extremely willing and saw off all the challengers to win by a neck.
We hope she will now be rated high enough to have a crack at Royal Ascot. She has certainly earned her place there and it would be the icing on the cake for owner breeders, Chasemore Farm, to get some Black Type within this fruitful spell she is having.
