Brilliant Boy Busker

July 25, 2022

No horse deserved a top level success as much as the beloved SIR BUSKER and what a joy it was to see him get his nose (just!) in front for the first time since his Royal Ascot win in 2020, in the Group 2 Sky Bet York Stakes at York on Saturday.

He has been running huge races in some of the hottest Group contests in the country and picking up heaps of prize money along the way, but the step up to 10f really squeezed out that final push he needed to win a big one.

We are so thrilled for the team at home and long time supporters Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds, who prove that you don't need to spend heaps on ownership to compete at the top level.

Hopefully, Sir Busker can keep the momentum up for the remainder of the season and maybe bag an elusive Group 1 victory for the yard!
