Author's Dream opened his 2020 account in great style when scoring at Sandown today. Slowly away he raced towards the back of the pack, but jockey Callum Shepherd was keen to make his move early to stretch his rivals. He came with his run down the outside and, although he incurred a bump along the way, managed to get to the front in time for the line. This was the 7yo gelding's 5th win, but his first on the turf. He is clearly in excellent form and is enjoying life in Newmarket! Congratulations to his owners Mr & Mrs Conroy.
