Aldrich Bay recorded the first win of his career at Lingfield over 1m4f on 19th December. He was always handy under jockey Shane Kelly and found plenty when asked for an effort 2f from home. He quickened away easily and found himself at the winning post with 7 lengths to spare.

Having suffered a setback early in the season he has really strengthened up and is growing into a nice big horse. He looks like he could improve further and may also appreciate a step up in trip.
