DALRADIAN followed up on his win in a Lingfield handicap two weeks ago with a smooth success in a conditions event back at the Surrey venue today.
The son of Dansili, the 11/10 market leader, was settled towards the rear by jockey Jim Crowley but always looked at ease. Crowley remained out the back but on turning in his mount was the only horse still on the bridle. A gap opened up on the rail and Dalradian quickened through it with minimal fuss and was ridden out to record a half a length victory. This was a fourth win for the four-year old and trainer William Knight must be delighted with his charge's improvement over the winter. |
