HISTORIC Angmering Park in West Sussex is a proven base for training winners at all levels of the Sport Of Kings. Lady Herries, owner of the 11,000 acre estate, has sent out a host of winners including the exceptional Celtic Swing, winner of the 1995 Prix du Jockey Club and 1989 Coronation Cup winner Sheriff’s Star.

William has leased Lower Coombe Stables from Lady Anne and will have full use of the magnificent facilities at Angmering Park including three superbly maintained gallops – a mile and a half all-weather gallop, a brand new for 2010 Softtrack gallop and an excellent turf gallop. There are acres of turn out paddocks and plenty of woodland walking grounds.

Angmering is the perfect location for keeping racehorses happy and ideal for freshening up any horse – especially one not suited by the hurly-burly of a major training centre.

While the yard is set in a uniquely tranquil environment, it is within easy reach of all the major Southern tracks like Sandown Park, Epsom, Lingfield and Kempton. Even closer are Goodwood and Brighton while Salisbury, Newbury and Bath are not far away.

There is every reason to believe that the combination of Angmering’s superb facilities and William’s experience and enthusiasm will create the perfect atmosphere to help a racehorse to fulfil its maximum potential.
