This strong and athletic colt by was purchased for 45,000gnsfrom the Tattersalls Book 2 sale. He is a son of the first season sire, Blue Point who is himself a son of Shamardal. Blue Point was a precocious and high-class 2yo winning on debut over 6f in June but progressing to win the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York in August. Blue Point's racing career only got better though and saw him beat Battaash in the Group 1 King's Stand at RoyalAscot as a 4-year-old before going on to be unbeaten in 5 starts as a5-year-old including doing the King's Stand and Diamond Jubilee Group 1 double within 4 days of each other at Royal Ascot in 2019. 

This colt's dam was also a good 2-year-old winning twice (5f& 7f) before training on and progressing to be placed at both Group 3 and Listed level at 3 years. This colt is her 2nd foal and he looks a 2-year-oldtype.
